Ashuganj is an Industrial area. Ashuganj is nationally recognized as center of business as it has smooth road, marine and rail communication with Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong. Not only home, Ashuganj is alsorenowned in abroad for better communication is business aspect. Here found almost 400 rice mills. Some other business like sorter mill, fish feed mill and cattle a feed mill grows here based on these rice mills. Near about 30,000 people works in these large and small industries. Currently a container terminal construction is going on. An Economical Zone is about to establish in Ashuganj.
